Session 10
General Summary
WINGPERCH - VISITOR'S RING
- Realize how freezing cold the city is
- Meet Mark Bastardson, who claims to be old drinking buddy of Bord's - Bord thinks he remembers him
- Mark joins the group for now, group agrees because he seems drunk and fun and boisterous and not very smart
- Lyka carries the timbe, Vrae carries his chest
- Everyone but Lykalada'ath heads to the Clothing store to buy winter gear, including leggings, a beanie (Mak'Ti), leather jackets and vests
- First Da'ath then the rest go through customs, having to forfeit all weapons, and sign documentation with their information, as well as paying 7 SP for a pass into the city
- Bord does not have to pay because he was living here years ago, allowed to bring two guests through for free
- Mak'Ti steps inside to check out their wares, meets Rhukak who runs the shop
- Buys the Olisuba Leaf, can be used to brew tea to cure exhaustion
- Group meets up at Burt's Berch Boards, sign reads "Run By Agatta, P."
- Meet Planc Agatta, Bord's uncle, who welcomes them all. Also meet Bord's teenage cousin Timbha
- Planc gives Bord a letter from his father telling him to stop running and come home, that he has something he needs to tell him
- Lyka gives Planc the timber and receives the 500 GP payment
- Planc gives Bord 100 Platinum pieces to help him out (makes it clear Agatta family in Wingperch does well for themselves)
- Planc tells them about Bord being a crazy college student who drank a lot, Planc knows about Cult and wants to make sure Bord not involved with them anymore
- Group goes to check out university, and splits up
- Lyka leads T'nin, Bord and Mark to find a drunk college student he can arm wrestle with
- They are stopped at the doors and University Security gets their image and blocks entrance
- Security named Gad asks what it will take for them to leave, fearing Lyka's violence. Agrees to armwrestle as long as they leave after. Also agrees to give Lyka his nightstick if Lyka wins
- Armwrestling battle, Lyka wins!
- Mak'Ti and Vrae visit the ancient, grand library, clearly built tall and more for creatures than fly
- They are helped by Head Librarian Yook
- Yoock lets Mak'Ti copy a Vortex Warp spell from a book, takes 4 hours
- Vrae keeps him company, is giving a confiscated dirty book called "My Pulsing Tentacles" - a hentai manga created by an author named Dick James (pseudonym for Glibglub who wrote the books, and Jonin who drew them)
- The rest of the party heads to local college pub
- See hundreds of pictures on walls of the pub, Lyka sees that there are dozens and dozens of Bord and collects many of them
- Their waitress serves them a ROC ATTACK, a local mixed drink that serves 5. She also recognizes Bord and points him out to others in the bar
- Learn this is where Bord played his first show
- Mark comes clean to the group and admits he was hired by a Vedalken named Judai'aruk in Cloudscape to capture T'nin, he is a bounty hunter
- Says he likes the group, and thinks maybe they can all go back and take Judai'aruk without having to lose T'nin
- Everyone is shocked, and when Mak'Ti and Vrae returned, Mak'Ti is angry and demands more information, as he revealed Judai'Aruk is a Councilmember in line for the throne in his home city of Lumengrad. He also reveals his father is the Emperior, making Mak'Ti another in line for the throne
- Much discussion about who T'nin is and why this person would want him, and not care about Mak'Ti
- Knowing night is coming, and the full moon, they retired back to Bord's uncles house
- They arrive and Bord reluctantly tells Planc about Mak'Ti being a wereraven as the others lock Mak'Ti in a storeroom in the wood workshop
- Mak'Ti manages to control himself, so they settle in the for night
- Much more discussion about what to do next
- They decide to keep Mark around for now, and may go to Cloudscape to investigate
- T'nin says he does not know Judai'aruk, though the name is familiar
- Mak'Ti casts detect magic and senses divination magic around Vrae, but not around anymore else. Also senses illusion magic around Vrae's mind, but not around T'nin
- They decide that in the morning they will continue their previous plan and head to the Lake Madas area to search for Cult Activity
- In the morning they head back through the city, get their gear at customs and return to the Visitor's Circle
- They hear mention about the Wingperch Guide Guild, where they can hire a guide to take them across the plateau's
- They meet the owner Salla, who tells them the guides are 20GP a day
- They hire Aqeck to take them to Lake Madas after they are told the guides do not track where the "Cults" live
- Aqeck takes the group to the Roc Riders Garrison to hire a ride to take them to the plateaus below, one bird being big enough for them all
- They all take seats on the giant saddle and the rider takes them down, after Lyka tries to offer to fly it himself
- It's a quick, graceful ride to the surface, and they are left below Wingperch, in the forests of the plateaus
- They ask Mark how he planned to take T'nin and he reveals Manacles he was given by Judai'aruk, and Mak'Ti reveals they match the old and worn one on his wrist
- Lyka takes one of the manacles
- Mark also shows them the Iron Flask that he uses to trap creatures
- The group starts searching for tracks as they trek, and eventually discover Displacer Beast tracks
- Mak'Ti tells the group the beasts usually hail from the Feywild
- They decide to hunt the beasts and take their hides, using Mark's Flask to trap one of them
- Mak'Ti uses Nuri to scout ahead for the beasts
- Many hours later, they find the beast near a little lagoon
- Mark traps it in the Flask, but 3 more Displacer Beasts arrive and a battle ensues
- T'nin kills one of them, and Bord kills the other two, though Vrae is taken out in the battle
- Bord sends a Healing Word her way to bring her back up as the battle ends.
- Battle complete, darkness is now falling, as it is around 6pm! The Full Moon is coming.,

CHAR Saves (Resisting the Curse)
Whenever the character transforms they must make a Charisma saving throw, DC 15, which increases with each failed save or decreases with each successful save. Once the save hits DC 20, the character has succumbed to the Beast and is permanently lost, taking on the effects of embracing the curse. On that same note, if the DC hits 0, the character has completely mastered their inner Beast, and does not have to make any more saves, except during Full Moons.- (Started at DC 15)

CON Saves (Full Moon)
On a FULL MOON, the afflicted character must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw or suffer the Terror of the Night effects with a DC depending on whether the player chose to embrace or resist the curse.- Resist the curse - DC 20 Constitution Saving Throw (with advantage since he conquered TERROR OF THE NIGHT)
- The curse is at its strongest whenever there is a Full Moon in the sky
- DC 10 WIS Saving throw to remember the night if Transformed
For Next Session (review!!)
- Bord's new book will have songs he recognizes, melodies and lyrics that are similar to the ones the Cult gave him, ancient songs used while worshipping deities that proceed the known gods

- Courier Mission (Twin Falls to Tremorfall) - still need to bring package to Tremorfall, specifically to The Priceless Pidgeon Inn to the Tiefling bartender, Rikaria (old love-letters she wrote to Glarglib are inside)
