- Masters sensed anomaly on Terus, a mind that awakened on the planet with Psychic links to a creature they have been hunting for over 1,000 years, and a strange, inadvertant link back to their own psychic consciousness that they have been actively working to block since his awakening
- Masters suspicious of the timing, as the mind appeared to be tied to a massive psionic undertaking they had just performed, and they recognized instantly it was the mind of a Githyanki, one of their greatest adversaries.
