Kuniculai
THE KUNICULAI WAR
When Harengon first founded Warrenstone, a scouting party encountered Vampires sent by The Vampire Lord Cadell from the island of Winda in Domunz, and were turned into undead. They proclaimed themselves "Kuniculai" and set about terrorizing the lands around the Fields of Frith, creating their own army of Harengon vampires to take over the lands. They were unstoppable till a union of Gimloth Dwarves, Warrenstone Harrengon, Desert Eladrin, and Brightshell Harbor Tortles destroyed the Kuniculai, and drove the rest back to Domunz with their kin.- Though victorious, rumors abound of undead still being spotted some nights on the Fields of Frith, and the Kuniculai awaiting their moment to return to power.
- The Kuniculai Caves, their main base of operations and resting grounds, were situated on the edge of the Fields of Frith, on cliffs overlooking the wastelands. They are barren now, and few venture inside, knowing the cursed and evil things that once existed there, and might still cause horror
- UNKNOWN TO MOST - the War truly ended when an emissary of the Raven Queen, sent from the Shadowfell, a Wereraven from one of her Kindnesses, help trap Lord Khonaheeto, the head of the Kuniculai Vampires in their HQ alongside a gifted artificer using the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind, which was a gift from their people. He was too powerful for them to kill at the time, but she assured them the Queen had foreseen a time when she would send champions to finally end the threat of Lord Khonaheeto (potentially Mak'Ti and Vrae)
THE KUNICULAI OF DOMUNZ
- Founded by a Goliath named Tessik, who was a secret enforcer of King Clain of Obreriault
- On a mission to Oroccid to eliminate one of Clain's enemies, Tessik came across The Kuniculai War Memorial. Intrigued by the story and the terror the Kuniculai stories still brought about in the people near the Fields of Frith, Tessik researched the war and thought the Kuniculai were a powerful symbol
- When Clain and Tessik hatched the plan to start a secret mercenary group that worked outside of Obreriault (yet remained quietly loyal to Clain), Tessik suggested the name and theming of the Kuniculai to inspire feear in those in Oroccid who knew the name
- For a time the members of the Death Joints worked for the Kuniculai, though once they discovered their part in collecting Warforged parts and using them to rebuild slave Warforged hunters and spies, the group followed Keyrth's lead in abandoning the group
- The Kuniculai hunted the Death Joints, but the group proved too powerful for ever their strongest bounty hunters
- In the end, with their best and brightest slain by the Death Joints, Tessik rejoined Clain to confront the Death Joints in Miraxalim, and was killed in the final battle between the Death Joints and Clain, the lich Ryker McAult, and Andrea scrollage
- Following Tessik's death, the Kuniculai were taken over by Glibglub of the Death Joints, the group's continued existence only officially known to Alphanis, Glubglar and Glibglub
- It was a continued point of contention with many of the people of Oroccid that King Alphanis was rumored to have group of mercenaries named "Kuniculai" at his disposal, and Alphanis used them sparingly on Oroccid missions
- Glibglub runs Kuniculai as BLACK OPS of Obreriault, the "Men in Black"
- Many have become BLOOD HUNTERS CR 5
