RULES OF THE LEAGUE
"The CLOOAD reserves to right for final judgement on any rule calls, any argument against these rulings will immediately result in forfeit of match, and 1 Red Scroll. 3 Red Scrolls and champion(s) will be expelled from the League"
- No Banishment
- No summoning creatures
- No Killing Blows (once opponent is down, Clerics pull them out at the end of the round and revive to 1 HP, no death saves)
- No Crowd Involvement
- No OP Spells that incapacitate opponents without a chance (I.e. Force Cage)
- If Mak'Ti or Vrae (or any lycanthrope) ever fights in the ring and reveals lycanthropic nature, NEW RULE will be revealed, banning Lycanthropes from the arena due to healing prowess, invulnerability, potential passing of curse to others, etc etc
BRACKETS
- 1 vs 1 - 10 buy in (pay out 100 GP a match for winners, 10 GP for losers)
- 2 vs 2 - 15 buy in (pay out 150 GP a match for winners, 15 GP for losers)
- Team vs Team - 30 buy in (pay out 300 GP a match for winners, 30 GP for losers)
- Team vs Creatures - 40 buy in (pay out 400 GP a match for winners, 40 GP for losers)
- REMATCHED RAISE the buy-in and PAYOUT (i.e. TvT - 30 pay in becomes 50 pay in, 500 pay out)

Awaiting Battle in ArenaStanding back to back, you stare up at the tiered seats surrounding the arena—and the bloodthirsty patrons therein. United by their lust for blood, people of all kinds mingle freely in the stands, eagerly awaiting the battle to come. You can just make out the voice of the announcer—full of pomp and ceremony—over the pounding of your own heart. Then the crowd falls worryingly silent as all eyes turn to the hatch in the center of the arena. The heavy grate atop the pit is hoisted free by thick iron chains…Battle Arena
High walls enclose an expanse of hard-packed sand spotted with dark stains. Fly-specked spatters and smears of dried blood decorate the walls, some at a height twice that of you. Iron spikes project down from the top of the wall, clearly intended to keep anyone within the arena from climbing up into the steep stands that surround it.Packed Coliseum
The crowd erupts, coming to their feet and pumping their fists in the air. The roar is thunderous, almost deafening. There must be hundreds in attendance here—maybe thousands! Many wave colorful flags and banners bearing the names and sigils of their favored gladiators, while others watch with careful and measured patience—likely counting their winnings as the matches progress.The Arena
Blood-stained sands and bleached, rotten bones fill the floor of the desolate arena. Skeletons hang from the cruel, rusted manacles hammered into large pillars jutting from the earth, like tombstones of the forgotten dead. Stepped rows of benches line the fighting pit—a gallery for bloodthirsty spectators.
