Limbless Followers

The Limbless Followers are the acolytes who worship Zehir, along with the Scaled Priest. They are named thusly because the Following of Zehir requires many new practioners mutilate their bodies, for some unknown purpose. Some speculate that it is to more closely resemble a snake, others say that it is meant to be seen as a sacrifice to Zehir, etc. Many regard these individuals with fear, disdain, or both. They consistently travel together, often times marching in rank and file, muttering small prayers as they shuffle by. They are almost never seen after dark, but that is when the Carved Church truly comes alive.
