Our ship sailed to what they believed to be an island on a map, but was revealed to be a map mistake. Are they now Lost At Sea?
No. Becoming lost at sea only happens when your ship can no longer approximate its current position at sea. If your ship made it to where the island was supposed to be only to discover that the island is not there, you still know where you are: you are exactly where the map said that island should be, and should be able to make your way back to another landmark from there by traveling normally.
