Report Freeform: "Mission commenced at 20:04 standard time with departure from the Citadel on Helska III. Team equipped with second line gear and briefed on target location. Intel available was limited but accurate. Mission parameters were to investigate and secure intel on an old Ordo facility suspected of being in the hands of the True Templars. Furthermore it was requested that the facility be secured if possible but destroyed if necessary. Planet was known to have some Imperial presence, but the status of True Templar presence was unknown. Use of lethal force was granted in the event of hostile resistance. Mission intel and parameters were defined by intel gathered from the Bescane facility.
Imperial presence in the system was confirmed upon arrival, a few ships were spotted in the system although I do not have an accurate number I estimate between 10 and 15 ships stationed in the system based on observation and standard Imperial navy policies. The Imperial forces gave no indication that we were noticed although this cannot be confirmed.
LZ was established five kilometers from target location in a small clearing in a partial dense forest. We proceeded to the facility on foot in a tight formation with silent ops. Reaching target location three True Templar guards were confirmed by what we determined to be the main entrance. I left my team on the eastern approach to scout the northern approach. From there I spotted no other guards and created a diversion to draw guards away from the main entrance. A flashbang was used to cause this diversion and successfully drew away the guards from their posts. It is worth noting they displayed a well structured and organized search pattern when approaching my location, and it should be noted for future ops that they do possess good tactical awareness and training. My team reported two more guards approach my location from the south-south east making the total number of guards spotted outside five. The three guards lured away and were taken out, and the two remaining guards quickly retreated inside the facility. I rendezvoused with my team by the main entrance once the area was clear. We breached the main entrance with charges after the terminal was deemed too time-consuming to slice. No immediate resistance beyond the main entrance, a small hallway led further into the facility where seven hostels, including the two exterior guards, were engaged and terminated. My team followed orders to the letter and performed well during the operation with only Emma Reylin suffering major injuries. She was stabilized on location by DM-13 and a tech team was called inn along with a healer. Mission was a success and I left the facility computers and assets to the Techs to ensure no information was damaged or lost by inappropriate tampering."
Evalutation: Mission was successful, with proper guidance and training the Crusaders assigned to me can be valuable assets, but more training and experience is required before any of them lead an operation.
Recommendations: It became evident even during the mission briefing that the Crusader assigned to me required a lot more training in both weapons and medical treatment. Post op it is also evident that they lack training in tactics, awareness, survival and creative thinking. I suggest several practical courses be set up to ensure training in these fields. Standard radio procedures and standard equipment lists should also be made.
