Nirauan Shipyard Veefshya.
The main shipyard of the Ordo during the second Crusade. This giant facility was capable of producing up to large dreadnaughts and had the theoretical capacity to construct two of such ships at once. This was never tested as the shipyard was primarily used for smaller ships with a few notable exceptions such as the Sangreal and the Exodus Colony ships. The facility was mostly ground based but there was also a orbital station which could be used for final assembly of larger ships or as a drydock for ships in need of simple repairs.
The need for a Ordo owned shipyard came from the lacking availability of other manufacturers as well as a severe lack of trust in the galaxy due to wars. The Ordo wanted to develop systems tailored to their needs and although they worked closely with many different researchers and developers from across the galaxy in the end they came up with their own unique designs and systems. To the pilots this meant safer and more reliable systems that could not easily be sabotaged or corrupted by enemy forces.
Over the years many different designs were developed at Veefshya and the Ordos experience in shipbuilding grew. By the end of the second Crusade there was no more need for a pure military installation for the Ordo, and so the shipyard was closed down pending a new Crusade or other need of it.
The workers spread to different companies around the galaxy and so by the time of the third crusade most of the knowledge was lost and diluted into the grater galaxy, which lead to them then using third parties for their ships.
The physical structure and remnants of the facility are still on Nirauan although it would require a lot of reconstruction to ever get it operational again.
