GLOAM Network
The Global Abnormal Monitoring (GloAM) Network is ORCA's automated sensor network, one of ORCA's three intelligence networks. Unlike the other two, the GLOAM Network is not a network of operatives but rather a hierarchy of all the physical sensors ORCA has placed throughout the world to monitor for magical energy. These sensors are entirely automated and simply transmit their status back to the local headquarters at regular intervals or if they detect something. These local bases are responsible for the upkeep of the sensors and for responding to any detection of magical energy or failure to update. In several layers of hierarchy, the local bases then feed back to the central base for their country, which process the information and then feed back to Fulcrum Base. The entire network is centrally managed from there by a team of engineers and analysts, who ensure the network is functioning properly and look for any patterns or irregularities that local personnel might have missed.
