Something's off. That look in its eyes, and the way it broke its leg just now. Pretty sure it's dired.A condition were either fiend, animal or humanoid is infested by a parasite that alters their behavior, making it more aggressive and disregarding its own conditions, merely seeking to bring harm to its surroundings. It is not to be confused with the "normal" state of fiends or with the moniker attributed to some species. While rare and not too contagious, it brings a new level of dangerousity to whatever suffers from it. But what brings it about or how it works isn't precisely known in the first place.

Symptoms
Excess frothing at the mouth, heavy breathing, redding of the face or extremities, erratic behavior, reduced reaction to pain.
Treatment
No known treatment exists. while the condition has been known erases itself with enough time in the range of weeks, the behavior it produces often leads to the death of its sufferer prior to that point.
Sequela
Any damage sustained during the affliction doesn't magically disappear and needs to be treated. The rush of blood can alter brain chemistry in extreme cases leading to the survivors turning out "changed" or even completely catatonic.
