Session 129: When Last We Met 6/22/25

When Last we Met, the party entered into the Palace of the king in Olorun. To face off with their foe, Hastur The King in Yellow. They arrive just in time to see some of his cultists self terminating in his name. Having seen all this before in the cursed play, The party take strategic positions and the battle begins.

The party soon realize this foe is unlike any they've faced before as their spells don't seem to have any effect on it. The king in Yellow starts off by playing the Song of broken children, which summons flaming aberrations to attack party members that failed their saving throws.

Then it seems getting within a certain distance to the King causes madness and most of the party's Npc companions fall victim to. But still they fight on. They whittle down the health of The King in Yellow. Romaia soon figures out that he is immune to any spell of 5th level or lower and so the party redirects their magic in that way.

The party's own health is falling dangerously low as well. Ukko goes down after a broken child beats him to a pulp And sadly Emrys loses her life in the battle after the king in Yellow unleashes his death gaze. Can the party survive and defeat this eldritch evil? We will find out next time.
