Tyrythi (Elvish)
The native language of the Elves, Tyrythi is traditionally carved into the smooth bark of trees native to the Elvish jungle, and consists of thin, sharp characters read top to bottom, left to right in order to make the best of the thin space the tree's bark. Many elves are capable of reading and writing Tyrythi, as Tyrythi signage permeates the Elvish jungle and is perhaps the only way of getting around safely without falling into traps, holes or just generally getting lost.
Old Tyrythi was occasionally written on clay tablets, but because Elves no longer have access to such resources any more, this is incredibly rare in recent times.
