Gruumsh grew jealous of the success of the ensouled peoples of the Material Plane and created his own in secret, combining the features of mortals and beasts he most admired into the orokh, shaped from blood and clay. Fricka's insistence that the gods shun these new creations soon sparked the first great conflict between the gods.
