Linguistic Evolution

The spark of divinity developed quickly in the three ensouled peoples. They became dimly aware of the greater cosmos, and developed languages with which to express intangible ideas of the cosmic order and call out to higher powers. This delighted the gods, who often began to choose favored groups of mortals and subtly influence the world around them. The emotional connections the gods formed with mortals eventually spilled out into a demiplane of pure emotion surrounding the Material Plane, which would later evolve into the Feywild.
