First Among Goblins

First Among Goblins was the honorific title given to Rusalka by the Archfey Telwyth-Teg upon her Resurrection from Jezibaba's Cauldron in early Y1111. It recognizes her status as the first ensouled fey and, via her delivery of the cauldron to Telwyth-Teg, as the liberator of the goblins.   The title and accompanying reputation have afforded Rusalka enormous respect among the liberated fey (known as the Folletti), particularly within Cantonova. It is somewhat less acknowledged by wider society, though Rusalka's reputation as an effective wargrave has somewhat boosted the status of the "First Among Goblins" legend.   In the short time since the title's creation, a few other folletti have self-styled themselves as a more specific "First Among," with mixed public results. Of these, the only one known to be acknowledged as such by Rusalka is Corellia, First Among Sea-Daughters. Corellia was the leader of the first colony of rusalkae who received the news of Telwyth-Teg's liberation efforts, from Rusalka herself in late Y1111. She and several of her sisters left their home in the Rose Reefs to become mortal, starting an artist's colony in Cantonova.
