Disputed Archdevils

Several archdevils have formerly ruled realms of the Hells, but various frekhologists dispute their status on technical grounds, either due to their fall from power or doubts about their continued existence. Levistus, once-powerful ruler of Stygia, was imprisoned for many years and had his power significantly curtailed before his defeat in the Royal Phoenix Showdown of early Y1111. The current ruler of Stygia is thought to be Mescalina, a former mortal who attempted to ascend to godhood beside Sarastro. Baazelbal was the former ruler of Malbolge before Glasya dethroned him during the early Age of Complexity. His current power and domain are unknown.
