Procyon

Procyon is a binary star system, with a faint white star orbiting a larger white star. It was the site of a critical battle during the Contact War, known as the Miracle of Procyon. Despite having not actual conntection to it, the settlers of the Procyon system have embraced the mythology of their new home, and are known for a culture that pushes exceptionalism and a can-do attitude.

The Sea of Navarro

There are no planets in Procyon that make for good terraforming candidates. But the Procyian motto when told they can't do something is "Try anyway". Thus they selected a planet-sized moon orbiting an inner gas giant that was large enough to support an atmosphere, but which had almost no water on it. By de-orbiting ice collected from elsewhere in Procyon, the rocky planet has been covered in water and is now almost entirely ocean, aside from a few mountainout landmasses. Genetically engineered algea is in the process of seeping heavy metals out of the water to make it less toxic, while aquariums house the first generations of more complex fish and plantlife that are to be introduced to the ocean in stages to build up the ecosystem and transform the atmosphere. While the planet won't be fit for habitation for a long time, the plan is sound. The Sea of Navarro is named after the captain of the Globe Macbeth, Madison Navarro.

Madison's Gambit

A large planetoid orbiting between the 3rd and 4th planets, it was originally the site of a mining venture but became a weapons stockpile of strategic importance during the Contact War. Now the planet is marked by massive unnatural craters and is followed by a long trail of rock and debris following the detonation of a cache of nuclear weapons beneath its surface as a trap during the Miracle of Procyon. It remains a navigational hazard to this day.
