Assignment 1- Nourishment

How food is grown

Everyone needs energy to servive. Every one get's that in a different way but most species use food, drinks and the sun to nourish themselves.

Food and Drinks

Food and drinks have a limited around of ingredients that can be used because of agricultural limitations within the clouds of Sumentaa.

Crops that need to be grown in soil are nearly impossible to grow on the Everclouds. Crops that grow on trees and bushes are easier (not easy) as the routs can find stability within the clouds that have an abundance of water and minerals in them. Some species even take nutrias form the air and have there routs lay on top of the clouds, epiphytes. For this reason things like fruits, berries, nuts and flowers are popular and widely available to all social classes.

Unlike food water is widely available with rain clouds vorming little water pools of fresh rain water on its serves rain clouds or in water pools located on Everclouds . Where plain water is the most popular thing to drink you will see that people will add flavouring to their water by adding berries or flowers. Water can also be heated to make tea's and mulled drinks.

Assignment 2 - Pledge

As my first summer camp I want to take it easy on my pledge and go with coper (8 promps) . If I do more that's amazing but I want to be realistic and I think coper is that for me.

Assingment 3 - Old work

I just started this world and summer camp is the fist time I'mm seriously am going to be working on it. because of this there is not much to look back on at the moment.

Week 2

Assignment 1- Roots

Stones can not built people

Everclouds are solid clouds the people of Sumentaa live on. Though these clouds are solid they are still clouds an thus come with restrictions to what people are able to build as there cities and towns. Most buildings are crafted by skilled artisan that spent their lives perfecting their craft. These artiness are the roots to high society who want to show of their power in influence over others. But structures have their limitation. Where artisans are able to create emagelent structures with clouds they can not create hart and community. Which in something that is the root to a lot of smaler communities through out Sumentaa. What is curantly happing in Sumentaa is that high socioty is trying to invluance there version of perfection and strong simple lines slowly sucking the live and comunity out of smaller sommunities that relay on those cultural roots to keep there cultures alive.

Assignment 2 - Homepage

I need to make one. I don't have one for this world yet as it is a new world.

Assignment 3 - World building of old

I think my first world building project doesn't exist anymore as it was probably written on peper with pen in a time before I had a laptop (god this makes me feel old). As for the first project I would find it would be the world of Terana, a world where werewolf had there communities set around the moon lakes of the agent forest after being hunted for thing they never did, dangers they never were. It can't be found on my world anvil, but looking back on it now there were some really cool ideas so many I'll have to get back to it some time. The thing I saw when reading through it was that there were a long of cool ideas, but nothing was really flushed out. A lot of it were cool concepts with a couple of lines of text that left me with more questions than answers.

Week 3

Assignment 1 - Metamorphosis

An education in magic

Magic has been a important part of life for many generation over all of Sumentaa with everyone from the smalest creature to the largest being within the clouds enjoing the power given to them by the spirits the riside over them.

Generation of cloud walkers learning to use their power of light, darkness, and weather from their parents and community elders. With knowledge being passed on from one generation to an other for generations past.

But with time comes change. Families and communities that have held incredible magical power for generations get scared to lose the power and influence they have helt for a long time. And so in a effort to keep themself at the top they have started to centralise the education of magic. Having successfully being able to push out the narrative that if you want to learn "real" magic you have to spent your time studying your powers at one of there prestigious schools. This has not only insured that there families stay in power, but also that only the brightest and most powerful wielders get a ticked into there prestegase world of opulence and power

Assignment 2 - Information of an other art

I spent some time looking into marble work. Into how artisans can make these incradible crreations from a block of stone. I did this because I see Everclouds work the same way as marble and the artisans that work on creating things like buildings from Everclouds as artisans that work with marble. There is of course some magic that helps the artisans in Sumentaa create these incredible structures, but I think it's important to know one would do this thing without magic so I can se the magic to inhanse it and not make it be like "a wizard did it"

Assignment 3 - Information of an other world

For this I tried to branch out from the genre I normally write in (magical fantasy) and look at sic-fie. They both relay on you creating a world of your own but where in my work magic always plays a role in the life of my characters in sic-fi one can not relay on a complex magic system and has to work within a world of possibilities. To me it was very interesting and gave me some good insides into things I normally don't think about

week 4

Assignment 1 - Tomorrow

One can never truly say what's ganna happen in the future but we can make a guess on what is happing now and how it has changed from the past.

With high society having gathered more and more power over the last generation this will probably keep happing which will lead to more and more people being demanded on their will and wimp. This will start to create a monopoly where individual culture will slowly be erased till only there image of what life should look like will remain. with character slowly disappearing from art and architecture in favour for cleaner lines that will show a timeless elegants. But it will also come with a coast that might not be opposable to pay for most making so the elite will keep there states and wealth. If this shift to a more homogenise community will be a good thing is something that people will probably be divided on but the elite is convinced that this shift to sameness and homogeny will bring prosperity to all those willing to change with the times.

Assignment 3 - Sharing

I do not have a sharing goal. If people read my articles that is incredible, if they like them that's even better but I'm not doing this to get a lot of people to see my work. I want to use this summer camp to help me develop my world with prompt of things I might not have thought about writing.
