Light sounds like a inoccent type of maagic to have. What dangers can you do with light after all? light up a dark room? Oh how scary. But don't be fooled by it. Light is possibly one of the scariest sources of magic there is in Sumentaa. Sure you can't drown people with rain or blow them away with a strong western wind. No light can be use to shape someone's mind to see a reality that is not there.

A torment of light is one of the crulest forms of punisments recognised by the counse and is outlawed to be used without explised permsion from the Counsel of Light. It is seen as so cruel that no one should be subjected to it.

They are essentially messing with your head and you would be non the wiser, to you it is all real. Where this could definitely be used to do good it was commonly used to torture prisoners and make then confess to thing they have never done just to make the torture stop.
