Tenth High Priest - Rardum Mehrer

When the ship arrived back in port at Serrano with the body of Traviri, the city was filled with upset. Traviri, despite his affinity for spending money was considered a wonderful, humble, and kind High Priest. To ensure his vision's continuation, Rardum Mehrer was elected to succeed him. Rardum was also a Topaziones and was the current Major Priest. He also was a close ally with Traviri's vision and always strove to use his sect as a major proponent of such. It was an easy decision to elect him.   Mehrer upheld this standard. He continued the church's philanthropic mission, though reigned in the amount of money spent every year. Instead he focused on creating jobs for the homeless within the church and the city including bringing ships full of workers from other countries and working with cities around the world to build housing and farmland.   Mehrer was a wonderful leader, but was only a leader for thirteen years before he also succumbed to a disease he contracted from a local hospital during one trip he took in Quillwatch. His untimely death was a harsh reality for Serrano, Aralencia, and the rest of the world that even the best of things can rapidly change.
