The Burning of the Church

It's said it was the lack of upkeep that led to the north portion of the Church to burn, but some think it could have been a (lost) message to Fullfang II...

On a clear evening in 850, a fire began in the rafters of the north section of the Church. With the help of the local magicians, the fire was quickly put out however most of the north section of the Church and most of the Pyeametistes section was badly damaged.   Fullfang II announced the next morning that anyone involved in the fire would be quickly found and put to death for their actions. No one was ever found. Many believed the fire had simply started because the church had not been upkept in nearly three decades. There were some who believed it could have been an attempt on Fullfang II's life, but many were hopeful in telling this story rather than upset.
