Wordspeaking
Wordspeaking is a unique form of magically-infused rhetoric that manifests in children on an extremely rare basis. It was estimated by famous arcanologist Goldiin of Fosterwell that only one in ten thousand children ever show signs of wordspeaking, and one in a hundred of those are able to retain the ability past the age of seven.
The art itself involves a complex logical insinuation made with both mind and mouth. The wordspeaker attempts to establish a conversation with the very core of reality itself, and in doing so, is able to open a pathway of infinite possibilities. Put simply, a wordspeaker can convince the world that it should change itself.
While little is known about the limits of the ability, observed instances suggest that if a wordspeaker can propose an argument that something should be, it therefore must be. For example, if the wordspeaker sees a torch in vicinity of a tree, they can convince the universe that the tree is, in fact, on fire. And so, it becomes true, as the argument is validated by the very laws the universe is bound by.
