The Trade Nation
Just got a letter form our favorite client. Listen to this…
Wincille,
This simply cannot be allowed to happen. Honestly, you can’t possibly expect me to be foolish enough to believe the shipment was lost in Entré of all places. The place is built around transport. Even if my statuette’s did get swept up in the transit, the Eastern Coast Trade Company would surely not be so foolish as to avoid compensation for a man of my stature.
I find it insulting, sir. Truly, I do. Those statuettes are coming all the way from El Reino Fracturado, and to fail to deliver would be to make an enemy out of the great Reginald Blackwall, something that I’m fairly certain you would want to avoid. If this is the case with you, then you can kiss your position in the Trade Company goodbye. You and I both know they’ve no tolerance for failure. Need I remind you of what happened to the last man who sat in your seat? Perhaps Silmir can make room in the gutter he now dwells in?
I hope, for your sake, that I have made myself clear. Get those statuettes, or your career is finished.
-Reginald Blackwall
What a prick. Thousands of packages go through Entré daily, something is bound to get lost eventually. How important could these statuettes possibly be?
Still… I’m worried about the peculiarity of this mixup. Pretentious as he is, he’s got a point about such a high-profile delivery going south. Plus, there’s been rumors of… him… showing up in Entré.
We might want to look into this a bit further.
