Platinum Plate

A platinum-plate adventurer is a truly rare sight, not only due to the tremendous amount of skill required to achieve such a rank, but because of the mortality rate of those who reach such heights. Platinum adventurers have braved challenges that would retire those lower them. They very rarely take contracts, as even gold would be considered beneath them, but when a platinum contract does come around, it indicates a truly serious matter. Platinum contracts are not available for request from normal contractors, but rather, are put in place by the guild itself, deemed a dire enough task to where such a matter could not be entrusted to even the esteemed gold-plate adventurers. These contracts often pose a threat to entire provinces. Only a handful of contracts have ever been upgraded from Gold to Platinum.
