Sojiro

The Lord of Revenge

Sojiro is an orc blademaster that sought the path of a warrior. From working with an exploration guild to possibly learning many different fighting styles, Sojiro had gained many enemies in rapid succession. As He delved into the realms of the Icons, He gained insight on what it means to be a warrior, and what honor truly is. And with this, what it means when someone breaks the warrior’s code. This is what led to Him becoming the Lord of Revenge. His mount is recognized as being a Heavy Warhorse.

Dogma

Sojiro is an orc that prides themselves in their swordsmanship, and thus prefers to be left alone. During His travels as a disgraced warrior, Sojiro had tried many times to seek what honor is and how to claim it. His understanding of the subject soon became a journey in its own right, and He embodies two aspects of honor: honesty and valor. Revenge, dishonorable in other cultures, is not dishonorable to a worshipper of Sojiro. To seek recompense by any means, even through dueling, is considered an honorable act between combatants. Refusal to do so is considered cowardly and can be dealt with by any means.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

To gain favor with Sojiro, one has to be honest, seek valor, and quickly deliver revenge whenever the situation calls for it. To fail in these is to lose favor with Sojiro and redemption is only gained through the blessing of Krakhorn, the Lord of Redemption.

Ranking requirements

Only those who are of a divine ranking of 12 (Chancellor) have earned the chance to worship Sojiro.   When an orc has managed to prove themselves by settling a quarrel through combat, but maintaining restraint as to not kill the opposition. This is when they can eventually advance in religious promotion. The worship of Sojiro is one that is earned by reconciliation, not just petty revenge. Anger misplaced is what causes the greatest of losses. Gaining insight on Sojiro's guidance and performing His tasks will earn His favor and eventually you earn His blessing of promotion. This promotion allows one's prayers to be heard from Vurga, the Lord of Goblins, Death-In-Many-Shapes, the Lord of Survival, or Krakhorn, the Lord of Redemption. Religious promotion does not prevent one from praying to their prior deities and thus Sojiro can still be sought for guidance.
