Lamina
The Embodiment of Ice
Lamina is a metallic dragon of platinum and silver scales that embodies the cold and chill that She was born in. This upbringing had led Her seeking new lands to explore at the cost of losing some of Her own past. As She searched, She had found a life partner; Valrux, the Champion of Leadership. She had fostered children that embodied the element that She embraced. And it is believed that Lamina hails from the Planar Crevasse and may have been the creator of it. She is also a part of the Alliance of Scales as The Great Dragon of Knowledge . Her mount is recognized as being an Unicorn.
Dogma
Lamina is a studious Embodiment. She had suffered the loss of Her brother as ruinous magics had stolen Him from Her. Her constant pursuit of answers on how the elemental planes are interconnected are part of what She deems as necessary for the development of magic. Always careful, but ever curious, Lamina will help those of other races and cultures as they will provide insights that even She, an Embodiment, would be ignorant of.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
To gain favor with Lamina, one must only pursue knowledge and magic. These are noble pursuits that can give power to those that feel powerless. To rebuke such things, or worse, destroy or hinder the acquisition of such aspects of life are cause for loss of favor. Redemption is found through venturing into the White Expanse and observing the people known as the Daza. To learn from them and escape with one’s mind intact is the only way to regain favor with Lamina.
Interactions with the world
Lamina’s contribution to Omedei is one of balance. As some would consider Ice as a nuisance and danger, Lamina understands that it is an equalizer for Omedei. With this in mind, She aids in the control of Liruk, provided the north and south continents for keeping Omedei’s temperatures stable, and will often be the one to make the temperatures as bearable as mortally possible. She even endeavored to aid the mortals of Omedei through the creation of a special moss. Known as Mawlmoss, these patches of moss are relatively untouched by temperature changes, and even thrive in cold environments. Mawlmoss tends to be made into cloaks for druid circles or even alchemically infused into potions to act as a means of enduring the cold. This bristled moss is often found growing in patches where unfortunate travelers have perished and respects are often paid to the traveler in question before procuring the moss.
