Echo's Cabin

"I heard the rumored whispering of the woods. Faint lights danced among the gaps in the trees as I stood at the edge of town. As the sun set I felt myself drawn into the forest. My feet moved on their own accord. Before I knew it, I found myself standing in front of a peculiar cabin. " - Unknown diary excerpt on a torn, stained page. 

  At the center of the Kinderfolk Grove sits a curious hut. It is two stories tall and constructed from a deep purple wood. A white stone chimney adorns the wooden roof. Vines with periwinkle flowers cover a majority of the outside. The structure is sound and not abandoned. The cabin is located in the center of a clearing, but there is no path leading to it. Those who stumble across this building usually do so by chance or enticement from the intriguing surroundings.    The only inhabitant is a friendly Kenku named Echo. She wears a pink cloak with many pockets to store trinkets and shiny objects that she finds on her travels. Echo is an artist. Her metal sculptures are displayed in the clearing surrounding her cabin. Visitors may purchase these from her with either coin or interesting bobbles of their own. There is always tea and cookies available and Echo gets sad when people do not stay for snacks and storytelling.   

"Welcome! Welcome! Sit and drink. Tell me a tale!" - Echo greeting the rare visitor. 

  There is a front porch with hydrangea bushes on either side of the steps. A comfortable bench swing and plush chairs are neatly placed around a low, wicker coffee table. Echo often enjoys her tea and visitors out here when the weather is pleasant. There is only one door. It is a soft pink with flowers painted along the frame. A small pixie is engraved in the middle top of the door. When opened, a short melody plays with no discernible source. The doorknob is round and silver with more floral etchings on its surface. It is always warm to the touch.    On the first floor is a kitchen, living room, and bathroom. All of Echo's furniture come in various shades of lavender, pink, and light blue. The inside always smells of baked goods and vanilla. The kitchen is to the left of the entrance while the living room is on the right. A small corridor separates the two halves and leads to the stairs that line the back wall. The bathroom is to the left of the stairs. Whimsical paintings of the feywild line the walls and small metal sculptures are displayed on different surfaces. The couch and chairs are always soft and clean. They sit in front of a full bookshelf and fireplace in the living room. Echo keeps her kitchen fully stocked and there's always fresh bread and other goodies set out on her counters.    The second floor is Echo's bedroom and indoor studio. Her bed is plump full of fuzzy blankets and colorful pillows. A daisy throw rug sits in the middle of the room. Echo works on her paintings and smaller sculptures in her studio nestled into an alcove to the left of her room. There is an enchanted viewing window on the studio wall. It lets Echo scan through locations in the feywild for inspiration and references.
