Ruins of Nala
Situated along the Deep Road are the ruins of the ancient city of Nala. Originally populated by followers of Jos'Nala and Jos'Dar, the city was abandoned during Mendhalia's efforts to unify the land that would become the Kirinian Empire.
The residents of Nala saw that the effects of the Sundering had caused a fairly widespread hatred of the twins and their worshippers in this part of the world and collectively decided it was time to abandon the city and find their way to Dalkor if they wished to live.
Most of the inhabitants were unable to make it so far as The Rift blocked their path in every direction. Instead, most of the citizens ended up staying together and forming New Nala in the eatern Freelands.
The ruins are said to be haunted and while several small villages are nearby, the land has never been reclaimed.
