Vöród

The Vöród are the eight eyes of the Ibrófeneð, located at the most bulbous horizontal extent of the Žëša, or head. They act as the main sight organs for the species, and also serve as the quickest sensory organs of all the body parts, as they are the closest to the Súro, or brain. Due to ther large size, each eye is uniquely outfitted with its own short-term supply of silicon, allowing it to quickly repair minor injuries, but the eye lacks motor function, and the creature cannot move any part of the eye independently. This results in a near-360 degree field of view, punctuated by small blind spots in the area between each eye. Through region-specific brain signals, individual eyes can be augmented to give a better quality of vision in that direction.
