Nota-Hafžýr
The Nota-Hafžýr is the middle layer of the Súro, that is, the brain of the Ibrófeneð species. Being by far the largest of the three layers, it is responsible for the receiving of signals from the other two layers, the processing of these signals, and the deciding and sending out of commands to the various organs in response. This layer chiefly comprises voluntary motion; involuntary motions are handled by the other two layers. Thus, the Nota-Hafžýr is often symbolized as the 'soul' of the being.
