Kirfür-Wýðúr

The Kirfür-Wýðúr is the rock of the Hýyo-Wýðúr, that is, the cities of the Northern Amoŋot Desert. It is known for its firm and dense consistency, which renders it a perfect material to be mined out and used for construction and sustenance. It is thus a staple of the architecture in these cities and an integral part of their rapid growth and expansion during the Ýmor-Maðúšýï and Ýmor-Yarmurïŋ. The Kirfür-Wýðúr would be mined so much that even by 24990 AYM, massive gorges had appeared in nearly all of the major Wýðúrian settlements, and the rulers thereof would make plans to establish trade relations with the stone-mining city of Ožërhýŋ, thus triggering the First Varhoŋïan War of 24976 AYM.

The consistency of the rock can be roughly attributed to the relative undisturbedness of the area. Being so far inland, even the strong winds of the Hýyó-Hayïd cannot bring sufficient sediment quantities to fully integrate them into the rock, and all the other directions are shielded by the Wozalfisó-Blýfon. As such, the rock that had existed in the Hýyó-Wýðúr before colonization was most likely the same exact rock that had existed in the region's geological formation.
