I Need More Soup

The natural successor to Soup for Tomorrow: The pledge for more soup.

Listen here Buckos, ever since I found out how to quickly create articles via that thing in the bottom right, I've been spewing out empty articles with the 'expectation' that I'll get to them later. But F#@% that! I'm backed up with like 80 articles up mine and no such urge or intention to actually write on them! And with school around the corner, I must get my arse off the ground and do what I was set to do before extreme laziness and drunkenness doom me to whatever fate I'm assigned. I can't bear any longer to see my world as such tree with all its branches leading nowhere. I give myself until Monday to complete all empty articles. Today is Thursday.

But aside from that, I also need to start incorporating actual images. I find that world lacks much substance if I rely just on words. Of course, I will never use image AI simply because I find AI in general to be super finnicky and I don't like their artstyle. Instead, I'm leading towards a style similar to the skietches made by European colonizers, like in black and white, but I have no such digital artistic talent and might try sketching on an irl notebook before seeing how shit it is regardless and ditching it after a week of trying.

All things considered, I need to be more well-rounded in what I write about. I'm getting tunnel-visioned again, I can feel it. I need to make more plants, make more geography, make more culture especially.

I'm still on the same goal I set for myself in December, and I will hold myself to it throughout this year; 500,000 words, maybe double it given the timespan. I cannot be sitting there all blanking out and unmotivated; I must fulfill this. No question of if or why, but simply how.

GOALS:

A total of 1,000,000 words done in 2025. (500,000 is acceptable)

Elaboration of all such articles with less than 50 words (currently 95 of them!)

Raise the average wordcount of all article types above 1,000 words

Make 50 sketches

Make 50 species articles, 50 geography articles
