Gašïl-Avï

Gašïl-Avï was one of two major cities in Khërn-Švere, alongside Hraðóm-Avï, that linked the isolated community with the rest of the Kairn Tribe. They were both situated at the two crossing points on the Kairn River System, and from these two cities, a number of defense forts were built at the northern edge of the Volain Forest. Through the crossing points, Gašïl-Avï also served as vital connecting point of the Avï-Arfarot that allowed for reliable yet limited communication between the Khërn-Švere and the mainland. Although one of the most populous cities during the tribe's early years, Gašïl-Avï would steadily decline as the population became more and more drawn to trade relations with their northern neighbors, namely the Lrhúuŋðarr and the diverse trading route the Palïŋ-Lhrúuŋðarr, leading to the cultural and societal distancing between the Khërn-Švere and the rest of the Khërn tribe.
