Žüuhkar-Hýŋ

The Žüuhkar-Hýŋ, or the Old Ruins of Ožërhýŋ, was the old location of the city of Ožërhýŋ. Inhabited and ruled by members of the Farïnýð Family from the city's formation in 25000 AYM to the First Varhoŋïan War of 24976 AYM, it was devastated in the Second Battle of Ožërhýŋ in 18-19 Anta-Eimarae, 24976 AYM, and the city was rebuilt not on the same location, but on land 30-40 kilometers eastwards. The site of the old location is the Žüuhkar-Hýŋ, and serves to this day as a vital archaeological site for the artstyle of the Farïŋýð Family, especially its influences from both the Maðúšýï and Hýyo-Wýðúr.

For much of the Ýmor-Maðúšýï and even into the Ýmor-Yarmurïŋ, the Žüuhkar-Hýŋ remained a serious physical hazard, especially as it was situated between the Arbin Watershed and Ožërhýŋ. Its presence forced mining paths to take longer paths around it instead of the most direct path, and the western gate of the city was almost entirely abandoned due to its dangers. These dangers would be further amplified by the winds and weather of the region, which gradually broke down the half-destroyed structures such that, by the Varonian Civil War, the site was a 'jagged field of stone spikes'.
