Оö-Vanýst

The Оö-Vanýst is a thin layer of specialized bone that coats the inside of the Vanýst, or esophagus, of the Ibrófeneð. In this manner, it operates as a shock absorber to counter the violent digestive motions of the Tewaðup. It is linked to the Оö-Ëtavú and these two form the Ýyr-Оö, or the top portion of the skeletal system. This layer is very disposible, breaking relatively easily if strong enough vibrations are generated, but it possesses the most nutrient vessels and thus has the quickest regeneration speed of any organ in the body, being able to fully reform after 5-6 months.
