Ŋópïŋ-Arún-Khërn
The Ŋópïŋ-Arún-Khërn, or the fork in the Kairn River System, is a geographic location in the Volain Forest where the west and east rivers join together. It holds a prominent place in early Ibrófeneð history, as the vast majority of emigrants from the tribe would sail upstream the Kairn River, thus reaching the fork itself. Taking the west fork would lead to the Amoŋot Desert and taking the east fork would lead to the Ðýmóš Plains. It is very much due to the river paths themselves that determined the placement of early cities and tribes and the rates at which they grew.
