About the Author

C. J. Stith was born and raised in Atascadero, California, developing a fascination for several creative outlets including art, cartooning, film, and, of course, writing. At Cuesta Community College he received his Associates Degree in Film and Television before switching career paths and earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design and Animation from Grand Canyon University. Two years later, he began work on what would become his first published novel: Steel Runners. His love for fantasy tabletop role playing games as well as World War 1 history informed the passion project, marrying both interests to create the world of Oliida. When Stith isn’t writing, he is often found sketching with friends or painting his collection of war gaming models. He currently resides in Walnut, California.
