Nearly 300 years after the first, the forces of the Badlands were again pushed to action against the Calcians.

However this time was far less messy, as the Calcians had invented the Paladin Order to patrol the Border. But the sinister forces at work were even more prevalent in the words and deeds of the Badlanders, now using some perverted degree of magic to their own end. They were halted byCalcia and the world once again, but because of the war the Calcians grew paranoid, and began leading Crusades into the Badlands to thin the population.
