In the year 716, events converged to produce the most horrifying event in history. Feeling used and abused by the Calcians, Orckind was guided to war by dark forces, and the entirety of The Badlands surged out in a horde of destructive spirit.

The Orcs faced unjust abuse from The Calcians, despite their valiant efforts in defeating Stra'hera alongside Cylindrus Aebutus, and were cordoned off in the least hospitable on Okigira, The Badlands. This feeling of Betrayal made them easy to sway, as demonstrated by the Dark Warlord who called himself, Notte Dea (Lord of Nothingness). He led his chosen three and the Denizens of The Badlands in a brutal surge onto Calcian territory. They tore through the unsuspecting Calcian people like paper, rending villages and ripping cultural landmarks apart. The Elders of Calcia required the entire nation to rise up in arms against the enemy, and convinced the Melgarians to assist. The Army of Notte Dea was destroyed by the Stand, and Anyubis, Lord of Death in Melgar, slew the Notte Dea and his chosen three.
