Denthali

The Denthali are a unique instance of a mass Æther Mutation in a large population. The Denthali was initially the name of the settlement that the people came from. In an unexpected malfunction, the city lost all of its protection from the Æther storms just as the event began. The population which was around fifty percent human and a mix of elves gnomes and orcs made up the rest of the population. This event seemed to have evenly spread traits from all the species across the whole population. This was not initially noticed due to no noticeable physical changes. The children born after were notably altered though. The babies were born with general ease(although the elves claimed that the births had been marginally more painful than expected.) and they were generally healthy. But as the babes grew characteristics were noted as being out of place. Ears slightly too pointed or the child being abnormally strong or agile. All the people grow into examples of the prime physical specimens, with glowing complexions, easily maintained fitness, and almost universally the palest of blonde hair. Slowly as the generations passed the characteristic gaps have closed to the point you have people who are fit and hardy, strong and agile, and a little homogeneous. The Denthali is a long-lived by human standards group with some members reaching the ripe old age of 250 years.
