    Sulouise Migration
    Population Migration / Travel

    Mages of the Suel Imperium and Baklunish clerics called down the Rain of Colorless Fire causing the Twin Cataclysm in the regions of the Dry Steppes and the Sea of Dust west of the Flanaess.   A confederation of Barbarians, the Oeridians, flee the devastation of unbridled magical power by heading east over the Crystalmist mountains and invading the Flanaess. The Sulouise survivors soon follow in the thousands. Together these two peoples fight amongst themselves and the native populations, the Flan, for control.   Baklunish survivors head north past the Yatil Mountains where there culture continues to this day.

    Kingdom of Keoland founded
    Political event

    A union of NEheli, Rhola, and minor Oeridian nobles founded fiefdoms with their vast tracts of lands in the central valleys between holdings of the Suel. This series of disjointed states between the rivers Javan and Sheldomar became one nation after a series of brief battles with the Flan. Niole Dra was taken as the the capital and its first king, a nobleman of House Neheli was chosen to rule by consensus of the peers.

    Founding of Aerdy
    Founding

    The Oeridian tribe, the Aerdi, settle the Flanmi River. From this stronghold, they conquer indigenous peoples and fellow migrants with impunity. In time, the Kingdom of Aerdy rules the entire eastern Flanaess.

    Great Kingdom of Aerdy
    Military action

    The Great Kingdom of Aerdy launches expansion westward toward the early kingdoms, like Keoland.

    Overking crowned in Rauxes
    Political event

    Upon ascension to the throne, the Overking of Aerdy declares universal peace through the whole of the Great Kingdom and adopts a new calendar. The Great Kingdom controls the Flanaess from the Yatil mountains in the west and all the way east to the Solnor Ocean.   The southern border is controlled with a small garrison on the southern edge of the Nyr Dyv in an insignificant trading post named after the local grey hawks.

    The Age of Great Sorrow

    The Aerdi overkings have grown lax. They care more for wealth than the affairs of their distant vassals. As each sovereign passes, he's replaced with an even less competent successor. Outer lands chafe for independence.

    Revolution

    Viceroyalty of Ferrond lead a revolt that establishes the kingdom of Furyondy. This leads the way for other regions to establish indepedence.

    Founding of Nyrond
    Revolution

    The western province of Nyrond, elects a local noble as king and declares itself free of the Great Kingdom. Armies from all loyal provinces of Aerdy to suppress this brazen act, but were diverted due to Thillonrian barbarians raiding the northern provinces. Nyrond easily survives and thrives.
