Disbandment

The Empire of Misore was experiencing a period of unkempt growth at the turn of the Era, as Imperial ambitions grew and had no supervision. Eventually Mages in the Capital City of Misore, Halifax, decided to summon and subjugate a being called a Tarrasque. The results were disastrous. The summoners failed in summoning a tarrasque, as agents of Asmodeus had infiltrated their ranks, and instead brought a manifestation of the Demon King of the Nine Hells to the material plane. What followed was the Sundering, in which the Evil Gods of Oelia and the Good-aligned Gods of Oelia fought a 12-year war, where the Gods of Evil were defeated, and the lands of Misore obliterated. The Emperor was killed with his heirs, and a new Era began. Slowly the Misoren officials in Dramari lost their authority and were overthrown in the Shortsword Rebellions in 17 AS, and eventually, the remnants of the Empire reorganized into the Nation of Yeltorn. The Kingdom of Pikunas in the Metacerian Valley also declared independence during this time, although no war was fought. As of 23 AS, the remnants of Misore were officially known as The Nation of Yeltorn, and the Misoren Empire declared Extinct.
