The Obynaan Islands for hundreds of years after the scism had been left alone by the world. Their main Island sunk, their population halved, the Dragonborn of the Obynaan Islands were not deemed able to become a threat. This changed around 200 years before the war, around 300 years post-Sundering. The Clans of the Dragonborn united, and the clan leader who helped unite the clans, Ticcec Biroddi, was made ruler of the land. After the Unification under the Biroddi Clan, Obynaa flourished. Instead of pointless clan wars and infighting, the Dragonborn formed new cities and opened trade, first to other clans and islands, then to the rest of the world. The city the Biroddi clan hailed from, Boroshii, was declared the Capital of the Islands, and became a hub for international trade and inter-island commerce. By 400 PS, the islands were thriving.
