Moonelf
This species of elves is dominated by their reverence to the moon. They are powerful mages, but only mages. While their potency for magic is high, most of their strength is in illusions, healing and magic that uses the power of space. However, their power is directly linked to the moon phases. They are the strongest with full moon and weakest with the new moon while a lunar eclipse nulls all their magic and makes them weaker than usual. Some moonelves are very affected by this, they call it lunar sickness. Rumor goes that the royal family is particularly close linked to the moon and as such feel the most of it's phases.
