Gremlins
Basic Information
Anatomy
Tiny green imps with a penchant for mischief, gremlins are Otherworld natives. They climb around on long, spindly limbs and search for trouble to cause. Their large eyes and ears let them detect both dangers and opportunities to cause trouble.
Ecology and Habitats
Gremlins crawl around in dark holes and cracks, places where larger monsters have trouble getting to. From there they forage for food and unleash their pranks upon the unsuspecting. When their dens are threatened by either larger monsters or Ociles explorers, they hide as far into their caves as possible and throw magic at the problem until it goes away.
Additional Information
Social Structure
They live in loose packs and forage together, watching each other's backs and pranking each other in the meantime. They often coordinate attacks to take down larger monsters/settlements. Each den has one leader who is usually the most powerful(either physically or magically) gremlin in the pack. They boss around the lesser gremlins, and take the lead when coordinating.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
While gremlins have little use, dirty businessmen have occasionally summoned a pack of them into enemy factories/workplaces. The little imps rampage through the shops, breaking anything they can. Other than this underhanded tactic, gremlins are regarded as pests and vermin.
Average Intelligence
Gremlins aren't intelligent, but they are cunning. They can pick up sticks and rocks and such, but don't make any tools or anything with them. They mostly just throw them at people from hiding places.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Like all creatures in the Otherworld, gremlins have innate magic. Theirs is mostly minor bolts and short range teleportation, but some have shown more power. They use this power exclusively for causing trouble or survival.
Average Height
1-2 feet
