Taverns

 

Daynean taverns:

Daynean taverns are built outside, alongside the kitchen, unless it is inside the owner's house. The usual design is bunch of long tables forming a circle, with an open space for entertainers to perform.
Daynean taverns are mostly visite by locals who want to have a drink, as it is the easiest way to get alcohol. But they are often also use for celebrations and marriages.
These taverns tend to be mostly large, as they only require tables and chairs to operate. However, they can break down quickly due to the outdside conditions. However they are easily replacable.

 

Nagataru taverns:

Nagataru taverns tend to be small and have a homey feeling. Often built in an unoccupied house, eighter abandone or a spare one of the owners.
These taverns are mainly visited by locals, as travelers are rare, plus many owners don't serve to strangers. They also act as a place to hide if a military conflict were to happen.
Because building a tavern is far from cheap, they tend to be owned by rich individuals such as merchants, who mostly employ their slaves. Often the maximu slave allowance is incresed to accomodate these taverns.
But once in a while a poorer family decides to build one on their free time, or pull their money together to buy a hose.
Because taverns don't have a distinct look, only locals know which houses are taverns.
