The end of The Great War

The Great War ended "at the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month." The War to End All Wars had seen the defeat of the Central Powers, the dissolution of all empires on the European continent, and the creation of the League of Nations. Around six million men were mobilized for the war, and over 700,000 of them never came home.
