Disbandment

"The sun shines over the American Empire once more..."

After the nuclear bombardment of mars, most of the remaining insurgents fled to Europa. There, they met with the remains of the American intelligence agencies, and they hatched a plan. Several months later, all of the non-earth colonies declared independence from the UN at the same time and began to execute peacekeeping forces in the streets. After the UN's forces were spread across the system dealing with the rebellions, what remained of the still vast American war machine launched a massive assault, capturing earth in a matter of days. The UN was disbanded, and The Americans and the remaining colonies unified into the Sol Republic.
