After almost a century of Matador raids, all pirate activity ceased for almost a decade. Then in the Sēnlín system, over New Congo, a large Galleon Appeared. It Demanded the complete surrender of the planet, and when they refused all contact was lost. The Cruiser Paris was dispatched to the system and found that almost all of the 700 millions inhabitants of New Congo had been slaughtered and all valuables had been carted off. The Galleon broadcast that its name was the HMS Dying Of The Light and it demanded the Paris submit for boarding. The Paris narrowly escaped, and further analysis of the Ding Of The Lights signal identified it as a Matador Ship.
