After several scandals and disasters, president Morales refused calls to step down, and after a devastating loss, used the advantage of a stacked congress and court to hold repeated elections until 2335, all the while consolidating her power until she finally won fraud stricken elections in June of 2335. This ruined the republic diplomatically and would set a precedent that would allow a line of tyrants to earn the presidency and ruin the economy with social democrat policies.
